After-School Enrichment Club sessions are held twice a year for students in grades 1-8. Each session runs for six weeks with teachers and/or parents serving as club moderators.
A variety of clubs are offered, and they are typically held from 3:00 until 4:30 p.m. All adults holding their clearances who have a hobby, craft, or skill that they would be interested in sharing with a group of students may offer to moderate a club.
Students pay a fee that covers the cost of the club. Examples of clubs that have been offered in the past include:
Moviemaking and Animation, Digital Scrapbooking, Drama, Legos, Games, Yoga, Volleyball, Kickball, French, German, Babysitters Training, Computer Art, Origami, Sculpture, Drawing for Fun, Print Making, Pen and Ink, Mixed Media Art, American Girl, Cooking, Science, Insects, Construction Zone, Knitting, Crocheting, Scrapbooking, Writing Workshop, Garden and Outdoor Crafts, Environmental Science, Recycling as Art, and Kids’ Choir.
