If you are interested in learning more about our Preschool and Early Learning Program or would like to schedule a tour of our school please contact our Director of Development, Amanda Koerner.
Our Preschool and Early Learning Program serves children who have turned three or four years old by September 1. All children must be toilet trained prior to the start of school.
Three-year-olds may enroll for a preschool session two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Four-year-olds may enroll for a preschool session three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). We offer a morning and afternoon session for both age groups.
Families looking for a full time program, extended hours, and/or just wanting to give your child a stronger faith-filled, academic and social foundation may also enroll in our Early Learning Program. Our Early Learning Program is a continuation of our preschool program with our teachers working closely together on curriculum and skills being taught each week You have the option of how many days a week, and which days, you would like your child to be enrolled. The program is open from 7:30a.m. – 5:30p.m., when SJS is in session. The fee for the Early Learning Program is in addition to preschool tuition.
Each class is taught by a certified teacher/director and a teacher aide. Class sizes will be limited according to the guidelines recommended by the Diocese of Harrisburg.
Each child will have the opportunity to build self-esteem and confidence in an environment that is developmentally appropriate and focuses on the whole child – body, mind and spirit. Learning opportunities will include social and play skills, learning readiness, and motor development, as well as participation in music, library, physical education, technology, and Spanish. We recognize that as parents you are your child’s first teacher. We want to assist you in your endeavor to give your child a Catholic educational experience that resounds with the love of God. -
Schedule
Our schedule for the 2023-2024 school year will be as follows:
Preschool 3: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 – 11:00a.m. (waitlist available) or 11:45a.m.-2:45p.m.
Preschool 4: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:00-11:00a.m. (waitlist available) or 11:45a.m.-2:45p.m. (waitlist available)
Early Learning Program: Monday-Friday, 7:30a.m.-5:30p.m. (waitlist available)

Tuition
Our tuition rates for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows
3-year-old Preschool (T,Th): Yearly Tuition- $1,405 (Billed over 10 months- $140.50/month)
4-year-old Preschool (M,W,F): Yearly Tuition- $2,000 (Billed over 10 months-$200/month)
Early Learning Program: To be billed monthly, in addition to preschool tuition, based on use

5 days wk = $720/month
4 days wk = $650/month
3 days wk = $615/month
2 days wk = $505/month
4 yr olds
5 days wk = $685/month
4 days wk = $615/month
3 days wk = $580/month
2 days wk = $470/month
$70 day - each additional day

Registration
Once we have determined how many seats are filled by siblings of current SJS students, children of Saint Joseph, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, and Saint Katharine Drexel parishioners will be given preference before non-parishioners in the order of acceptance. Once our classes reach capacity, we will establish a waiting list.
